Before the agreement, there could only be 35 weekly flights by the designated carriers between Canada and India.

The Canadian government said in a statement on November 14, 2022, “In the future, representatives from both countries will continue to communicate to discuss expanding the agreement.”
It was not immediately possible to determine if the two nations had lately considered expanding the agreement they signed in 2022.
