Diwali is here to reconnect loved ones from across the globe like every year. The Non-Residential Indians are fighting for affordable seats back home in India. To Grab Affordable International Canada To India Flights, they have been looking for every offer and discount possible. This Diwali many airlines have announced a massive price on domestic flight tickets in India. The drop reaches up to 25% one way and maybe higher on a round trip. The short period to book and board may be a stressful process but it is worth giving a shot and becoming a savvy traveler.

International flights are indeed higher priced and further taking a domestic flight might stress your pocket a bit too much. But the Indian scheme for discounts on domestic flights will lower that strain.

The massive drop is a result of several factors that occurred this year like the new aeronautic launches having more capacity for passenger boarding and being able to fulfill the high demand of direct flights. Moreover, the fall in oil prices has also given the idea to the airlines to sort their routes in a beneficial way. This tactic would offer passengers a variety of routes and price options to find where they fit in. Flyopedia will enlist some price declines in domestic routes.

The thing is that Sneha has grown up in an Asian family where the environment is very secular. Her parents never forced her to accept any relation or caste in her life and they never interfered in any of the decisions she took for her. She grew up in a secular environment with her parents, which was one of the reasons for her taking such a big step. She became the first one who has broken these labels of the society. And she has faced a lot of hardships to get a certificate.

It took her 9 years to get this certificate. This landmark also attracted a lot of admiration but it seems that where there is admiration there are also a lot of controversies

After managing a lot of controversies, finally achieved this milestone. Some people called this decision the best decision but on the other hand some people even opposed her decision. A quick reminder that last minute flight tickets to India are available, check it now! before you miss it.

Now that you have come to know about the ISO 9000 certificate, you must be wondering what does The Surana family have to do with it? You will be shocked after you get to know them. This family has converted their home into a well-oiled machine in which they strictly follow the same rules as other companies. They even had plans that said what to eat today and how to throw the food they have eaten in the trash. Suppose you live in a family, where a family member works like an employee and every member has different duties. Now that they have turned his house into a company. They have also made a manual for their company, where what to do and what not to do is written.

Imagine a family where everyone has a job and follows a plan. That’s the Suranas. Their house is super organized, and they even have a special book that tells everyone what to do. It’s like a company manual, but for a family!

Significance of the Gangaur Festival

Gangaur symbolizes Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati united. Gana represents Lord Shiva, while Gauri is the name of Goddess Parvati. So now we know how the name mixing began.

The tradition underlying this event is Goddess Gauri’s tremendous devotion and dedication to winning Lord Shiva’s love. When Lord Shiva saw Goddess Gauri’s love for him, he became enthralled and married her.

Later, Gauri visited her maternal house and blessed her friends with married bliss, staying for 18 days. On the day of parting, they held a big party, and Shiva came down to take her home.

Rituals Performed in Gangaur Festival

The initial and essential Gangaur ritual is to gather ash from the Sacred Fire in clay pots and cultivate barley and wheat seeds there. After seven days, ladies create colourful idols of Gauri and Isar (Shiva and Parvati) while singing beautiful Rajasthani folk melodies. Some families keep their idols for years and adorn and paint them on special occasions.

Evening Rally of Unmarried Girls

The unmarried girls organize a rally in the evening of the seventh day, using a diya inside a Ghudlia, a clay pot. While wandering around, people bless girls with tiny presents such as sweets, jaggery, small cash, ghee or oil, clothing, and jewellery.

This continues throughout the rest of the days, and on the final day of the festival, people break clay pots. For all 18 days, newlywed ladies fast for the entire day, whereas other women fast for only one meal every day.

Festive Preparations and Sinjara Tradition

The holiday spirit peaked these past three days. In addition to dressing up, wearing jewellery, and dotting their hands with mehendi (henna), today’s ladies make the most of this Puja by beautifying their idols. Parents of married women send Sinjara, containing sweets, clothes, jewellery, and other ornamental gifts, to their daughters.

Grand Finale – Processions and Immersion

On the last day of the festival, many visitors and residents gather to witness thousands of women bearing Gauri and Isar idols on their heads in a parade to the lake, river, or garden. There, they bid farewell to Gauri and Isar by immersing their idols in the water.

Processions are colourful and filled with Rajasthani ethnic folk songs and dances. Many local bands also participate in the parade. Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, and Bikaner host the most thrilling Gangaur experiences in Rajasthan, although Gangaur is celebrated throughout the state. Bara Imambara Lucknow Timings Entry Fee and Architectural Marvels

Bara Imambara, Lucknow – Timings, Entry Fee and Architectural Marvels

What happens when architectural beauty is combined with spiritual power and a captivating past? Something along with the concepts of Bara Imambara. Bara Imambara, an iconic religious symbol in the City of Nawabs-Lucknow, was originally constructed in the 18th century. It was erected under Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula of Awadh and is additionally referred to as Asafi Imambara. The fortified structure boasts outstanding Mughal-style grandeur and is considered to be one of the most magnificent landmarks in Lucknow.

Bara Imambara is an important place of prayer and religious meetings, notably during the month of Muharram, when Shia Muslims congregate in large quantities as they mourn the passing of Husayn ibn Ali, Prophet Muhammad’s grandson. However, the monument’s great architecture and several intriguing stories make it a famous destination for travelers as well. Thus, in today’s article, we will discuss Bara Imambara, Lucknow – Timings, Entry Fee, and Architectural Marvels. Additionally, you can visit Flyopedia to book Calgary to Mumbai flight tickets.

History of Bara Imambara

A devastating famine struck the northern region of Awadh in 1784, driving common citizens and nobles alike into poverty and misery. During this time, Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula chose to construct Bara Imambara for famine relief.

It is estimated that almost 20,000 people were engaged to construct the monument. While the common people worked all day to build the fort, the aristocratic and wealthy people would arrive at midnight and demolish anything that had been built during the day. This was done to extend building efforts and keep common laborers and aristocrats busy during the protracted famine. The famine, like the construction of the famous Bara Imambara structure, lasted 11 years.

Bara Imambara: Today

Bara Imambara, situated on a packed thoroughfare near the historic part of Lucknow, is a place of devotion for Shia Muslims. Tourists and Muslim worshipers visit the monument all year. The tombs of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula and his Wife Shamsunnisa can be found in the Imambara’s huge hall. Throughout the month of Muharram, numerous Shia Muslim followers tour the shrine to carry out important ceremonies. The Imambara also features three well-kept gardens. Also, you can browse Flyopedia to book air tickets from Vancouver to Mumbai at reasonable prices.

Architecture of Bara Imambara

Bara Imambara is a historical masterpiece of art constructed by Hafiz Kifayatullah, an established architect of the period. It constitutes one of Lucknow’s stunning attractions, merging Mughal and Rajput architectural practices with Gothic characteristics. The most striking feature of the memorial is that neither metal nor wood-based components have been utilized in its creation.

The Imambara has two massive gates. The Asafi Mosque is on one side of the gate, and the large baoli is on the other. The main doorway of the monument features a trio of arches and a twin fish pattern, which was the Nawabs’ symbol. It is divided into nine halls, the largest of which is the center room.

The central room is 164 feet long and 52 feet wide, and it houses the mausoleum of Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula. Although the whole chamber is beautiful, the domed ceiling or roof within this hall deserves particular note. As the space was to be utilized for prayers and religious events, the 50-foot-high arched ceiling wasn’t supported by iron rods, columns, or beams. The roof’s blocks were carefully built with an interlocking brick method, making it sturdy for centuries without any help from columns or pillars.

Notable Things to See at Bara Imambara

  • Central Hall: The large hall with excellent architecture is one of the main attractions of Bara Imambara. As previously indicated, the ceiling in this hall is unusually constructed, with no beams or pillars to support it.
  • Bhul Bhulaiya, as the name suggests, is a labyrinthine network of over 1000 passageways with 489 similar entrances. Although it is one of the most amazing locations of the Imambara, visiting without a guide is not recommended. This complicated network of interwoven tunnels may be challenging to navigate on your own.
  • The Asafi Mosque is located on the western flank of the Imambara and features magnificent Mughal architecture.
  • Shahi Baoli: This five-story stepwell on the monument’s eastern flank is a work of great architectural design. It was said to be a hidden location where Nawab authorities would keep a watch on visitors. The well is built so that the reflections of people standing at the point of entry fall on the water.
