On the other hand, checked baggage must weigh under 50 pounds (23 kg) in economy or 70 pounds (32 kg) for business class, with maximum linear dimensions of 62 linear inches (158 cm). Nonetheless, Premium Economy, Premium Rogue, and Business Class have 2 bags included at no additional cost.

If you are traveling with extra baggage, you would require to pay an additional bag fee. But you would not be charged with overweight or oversize charges. Well, yes, you can prepay baggage fees with Air Canada. As the airlines permit flyers to pay in advance for the baggage online or via the mobile app. But you would need to clear the luggage payment 24 hours prior to the flight departure.

Note – Passengers are allowed to prepay for baggage up to 45 minutes before departure for flights within Canada. For international flights like flights to India from Canada, you would need to prepay up to 60 minutes prior to the flight departure.
